"On my second visit to Casa Con Vista my friends took over the whole Villa.  We were a party of 12 and this peaceful, yet beautifully appointed Villa served us all SO well!

I travelled with my frail, elderly parents (83 & 86 years of age, both with severe mobility issues – 1 of whom uses a wheelchair), friends of a similar age to me, my 4 children (all in their 20s), together with 2 of their friends and one small child.

Being on 2 levels, the Villa was ideally suited to such a mixed group. The Ground floor suited my parents beautifully, as there are no steps and all the rooms are light, airy and very well equipped. A bonus was the fact that we could take a wheelchair around the Villa (outside) and down the slope to the pool, so no one missed out!  The pool is a dream and, with shallow steps to access it, my parents could easily get in and out, with a steadying hand.  Similarly, my friends with their grandchild were able to use the pool with no difficulty at all.  There are 3 lovely sized double rooms, all en-suites on this floor, an enormous lounge, dining area and kitchen and access to a terrace with views to die for!
The Lower Ground Floor was amazing – there was an enormous sports room, with a pool table that was the scene of friendly rivalry most evenings! This was my favourite floor, as, although there was no built in air conditioning, it was beautifully cool – lovely tiled floors and three enormous en-suite double bedrooms.  There was also a kitchen and huge lounge, making it completely self-contained if needs be.

The location was perfect – only around 30 minutes from Marbella & Malaga airport.  The Villa is situated below the hills and in an orange grove (although most locals have changed their crop to pecan nuts!) and was SO peaceful – perfect for a relaxing break in the sun.

Car-hire (thanks for the recommendation) was very reasonable and, having more than 1 car meant we could all go off and do different things.  The 20 somethings enjoyed an active nightlife in nearby Coin – bars were cheap and open almost all Hours.  There were local markets and amazing places to visit, all within a short drive.

The beaches were all stunning – we all had our own particular favourites – and if someone sought sunbathing solitude back at the Villa, there was a lovely private roof terrace accessible via a spiral staircase.

Oh yes, there was a large BBQ that completely bowled me over – no need for me to cook, as all the young men vied with each other to BBQ their own favourites!!  The local food was great… and I discovered a fantastic local co-operative that sells every item of locally produced food that you could hope for – you can’t believe how great it tastes, either.

There is a local English couple to assist with change-overs – they are GREAT and a mine of useful information – so friendly!"

"I visited Casa Con Vista with my family in May 2013.  Our party included 5 adults and 2 children.  The property boasts a huge amount of space and we didn’t feel ‘on top of one another’ as can so often happen in holiday homes.  What we all enjoyed most was the peace and quiet.  It is located in the most beautiful surroundings from all angles of the villa.  We heard no one else when we were at the villa, it was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives.  A car is definitely needed but it’s only 10 minutes down the road to the town, again it’s a beautiful drive there.  It’s a great location as Marbella and Puerto Banus aren’t far and we enjoyed the large Saturday markets there.  The villa had everything we needed for our stay, we mostly used the BBQ.  It was great being buy the pool with the stunning views and able to pop into the rooms downstairs without having to go upstairs to get to a kitchen, bathroom etc. especially with children.  We felt very safe there and there is a little gate at the top of the outdoor stairs which was handy with little ones about.  All the rooms upstairs had their own air-con which was a huge bonus, the downstairs is so much cooler it was never a problem that it didn’t have any.  The layout is perfect for large groups and families, it is designed to offer privacy as well as a great warm, family friendly atmosphere."

"This villa could equally be christened CASA MAGNIFICA being, as it is, a superb house set in a truly rustic idyll yet without being remote.

I rented the villa for three weeks in August/September 2012 and the villa comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 5 children in the 6 en suite bedrooms. There is ample indoor space for cooking and dining whilst outdoors there is an excellent BBQ and seating for many. There is a sweeping stairway down to a delightful pool which is attended almost daily to fully maintain balance and clarity.

Although the villa is secluded it is far from being isolated, In the nearby town of Coin there are excellent restaurants and also “warehouses” offering a broad range of fresh local produce as well as keen prices on beer and wine. There is also a very good independent butcher who provides great meat for the BBQ.

The children did (occasionally) leave the pool in order to visit the beach and they particularly enjoyed Mijas Costa which is around 30 minutes away. There are many other attractions close by (water park, zoo, go-karts etc.) and both Marbella and Malaga are within a 1 hour drive. If you are looking for a quality holiday for a large group it will be very difficult to find elsewhere the value offered by VILLA CON VISTA."
